Kuala Lumpur - Shenzhen - Urumqi
According to the flight schedule, take a flight to Urumqi. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel to rest. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner.

Urumqi - Tian Shan Tianchi - Fuyun County (approximately 478 km)
After breakfast, head to Tian Shan Tianchi, located in Fukang City, which was named "Prosperous Land and Healthy People" by Emperor Qianlong. Upon arrival at the national forest park and AAAAA scenic area Tian Shan Tianchi, take a shuttle bus to the core area of Tianchi. Then, switch to an electric cart to visit the lakeside attractions such as One Line Sky of Shimen, West Small Tianchi, Hanging Spring Waterfall, Nanshan Snow View, Xishan Pine View, Dinghai Shenzhen, and East Small Tianchi. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to admire the sacred snow scenery of Bogda Peak. After lunch, proceed to Fuyun County. Along the way, pass by the Gurbantunggut Desert (stop for sightseeing and photography) and the Kalamaili Ungulate Nature Reserve (stop for sightseeing and photography), home to protected rare animals like Mongolian wild ass, Przewalski's horse, goitered gazelle, and argali. Fuyun County - Koktokay - Rainbow Beach - Burqin (approximately 300 km)
After breakfast, depart for Koktokay, home to Xinjiang's Koktokay National Geopark (including entrance ticket and shuttle bus). Take the 20 km shuttle bus ride through the scenic area, following the Irtysh River upstream to reach Shenzhong Mountain. The cliffs of Shenzhong Mountain, which seem to pierce the clouds and loom over the water, rise like a giant's foot planted in the turquoise waters. The blue river waters carve through the steep canyon rocks, with white birch forests painting the landscape into a vibrant art gallery. Despite its vast size and stunning scenery, the area remains relatively undiscovered by tourists, preserving its pristine condition as a serene and beautiful travel sanctuary.
After lunch, head to Burqin. Upon arrival, visit the renowned Rainbow Beach. The two sides of the river present contrasting views: the southern bank combines oases, desert, and blue skies into a breathtaking panorama, while the northern bank features dramatic Yadan landforms with undulating hills and changing colors. The Rainbow Beach is filled with unique wind-eroded formations resembling colorful ancient castles, monsters, and clusters of peaks. After breakfast, head to the Kanas Scenic Area. The journey takes you up winding mountain roads, surrounded by lush greenery. You'll encounter horses, cattle, and sheep grazing on the slopes, and in the distance, you'll see traditional yurts, the homes of the nomadic people. The scenes centered around the yurts create a poetic atmosphere, showcasing the harmonious beauty that immerses you in the journey. Even the road to Xinjiang is beautiful! Upon arriving in Jiadengyu, transfer to a shuttle bus to enter the Kanas Scenic Area (ticket and shuttle bus included). The serene Moon Bay changes with the Kanas Lake water levels, a gem embedded in the Kanas River. The Fairy Bay, with its reflective water surface glistening in the sunlight like scattered pearls, surrounded by mist, feels like a fairyland. Important Scenic Spots:
Wolong Bay: A broad river bend formed by the long-term erosion of the Kanas River, known for its picturesque scenery. In the center of the bay is a small island that looks like a pterosaur resting in the water, giving Wolong Bay its name. Facing west, you'll see Mount Bolebadai with its perpetual snow cap, presenting a magnificent view.
Birch Forest: The birch trees here come in various shapes and sizes. Some stand tall and slender like elegant young women, while others split into two trunks half a meter above the ground, intertwining as if in a loving embrace. The rows of birch trees, with their leaves swaying in the wind, create a mesmerizing play of light and shadow. Standing under the trees and looking up, you see sunlight filtering through the leaves, creating a dance of colors that captivates the imagination.
Moon Bay
1 km upstream from Wolong Bay, you'll find this crescent-shaped lake nestled in the canyon. Moon Bay changes with the Kanas Lake water levels, appearing as a jewel in the Kanas River. From above, the blue-green waters divide the endless birch forest, creating a stunningly beautiful scene.
Fairy Bay
Kanas River widens due to downstream debris and landslide blockage, with the widest part reaching about 700 meters, making it the broadest section of the river in the area. The gentle river valley forms extensive marshlands and meadows along the banks, with several small islands in the river. Legend has it that fairies dwell here, hence the name Fairy Bay.
Kanas Lake (Boat Tour of Three Bays): This freshwater lake of glacial origin is nestled in the deep mountains and dense forests of the Altai range. Surrounded by snowy peaks, lush green slopes, and dark forests, the lake and its surroundings offer a breathtaking view. The lake water changes color with the light, seasons, and weather, leaving visitors in awe.
Guan Yu Pavilion (Up and Down by Eco-friendly Bus): Located atop Camel Peak on the west bank of Kanas Lake, this spot offers a vantage point for observing the legendary lake monster, known as the Big Red Fish, which is said to be up to 10 meters long. Sightings are rare, making it a fascinating yet elusive attraction.

Jiadengyu - Hemu (approximately 90 kilometers, about a 2-hour drive) - Burqin
After breakfast, we'll take a car to Hemu Village. Along the way, enjoy the natural scenery of the Altai Mountains and the beautiful mountain grasslands, often referred to as the "Golden Mountains." You'll also see the Grassland Stone Figures, remnants of the grassland culture dating back 3,000 years. Admire the natural landscapes of the Hemu River Valley. Arrive at Hemu Village, acclaimed by domestic photography enthusiasts as a "fairyland on earth." Hemu is known as a place reserved for immortals. It's one of the country's eight major photography bases, featuring the most primitive Tuvan villages and the unique Taiga forest landscape. Hemu Village is surrounded by birch trees, snow-capped mountains, and the Hemu River, creating a beautiful village with original natural scenery, rare human traces, and a return to pastoral life. Walk through this picturesque landscape of small bridges, streams, birch forests, and colorful wooden houses in Hemu Township. In the afternoon, return to Burqin for the night.

Burqin - Devil City - Kuitun / Dushanzi (approximately 456 kilometers, about 5.5 hours drive)
After breakfast, we'll depart for the world-famous Devil City, also known as Wuerhe Wind City. It is located in the Wuerhe Mining Area downstream of the Jimuhe River, on the northwest edge of the Junggar Basin, about 100 kilometers southwest of Karamay City. This unique wind-eroded landform features strange shapes, and it is referred to as "Sulimuha" by Mongolians and "Shaytankerxi" by Uighurs, both meaning Devil City. After lunch, we'll head to Kuitun / Dushanzi and stay overnight at a hotel in Kuitun / Dushanzi.

Kuitun - Sailimu Lake - Yining City (approximately 450 kilometers, about 5.5 hours drive)

Guozigou serves as the gateway to the Ili River Valley, boasting white clouds, blue skies, snow-capped mountains, and pine trees, creating breathtaking scenery. The Guozigou Bridge spans 700 meters in length, with a net height of 200 meters from the valley floor, making it the first highway double-tower double-cable steel truss cable-stayed bridge in China. We'll stay overnight at a hotel in Yining City.

We'll witness the panoramic beauty of the Gongnaisi River Valley, galloping on horseback amidst the vastness of nature, chasing the traces of the wind and the footsteps of birds, living out our passions and individuality. We'll stay overnight at a hotel in Narat Town.

Nalati - Duku Highway - Dushanzi Grand Canyon - Urumqi
After breakfast, we will transfer to a 7-seater business van and travel through the northern section of the Duku Highway to Dushanzi. The northern section of the Duku Highway is a popular choice for tourism and self-driving due to its unique natural landscapes and historical significance. It spans approximately 250 kilometers, reaching altitudes of up to 3500 meters, passing through Qiemo, which is the most challenging section of the Duku Highway. Upon arrival in Dushanzi, we will have lunch. After lunch, we will visit the Dushanzi Grand Canyon, located about 28 kilometers south of the city center. It is a magical canyon with geological wonders dating back billions of years, offering magnificent scenery. In the afternoon, we will return to Urumqi. After dinner, we will check in to the hotel and rest.

After breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Turpan, known as the "Land of Fire". Along the way, we'll pass by the Dabancheng Wind Power Station. Upon arrival, we'll visit the Flaming Mountains National Geological Park, famously depicted in the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West" as the location where Sun Wukong borrowed the palm-leaf fan. Next, we'll explore one of the three ancient engineering wonders of China, the Karez Well System. For lunch, we'll indulge in a feast at the Mukam Grape Manor, featuring various Xinjiang specialties and barbecue, accompanied by music and dance performances. In the afternoon, we'll visit the oldest tower in Xinjiang, the Sugong Pagoda, also known as the Emin Minaret. With a history of 240 years, it stands as a commemorative tower for historical figures and a witness to the unity and prosperity of different ethnic groups. After dinner, we'll check in to our hotel in Turpan and rest.
